Nestes abaixo ainda nao constam os modelos 510 e 810 da garmin, que tem basicamente as mesmas funções do antecessores , 500 e 800, com uma diferença significativa onde voce pode ser monitorado a distancia atraves de uma rede de internet , pois o gps e telefone celular podem estar conectados. A mudança de telas no 510 e 810, se nao for pelo sistema touch, é um pouco mais chata, pois tem que se tocar na tela e assim aparece a "seta" para mudança de tela.

o ponto de partida do treino de amanha sera na lagoa rodrigo de freitas no lcaol onde fica a tenda ( entre as pistas de skate ) , em frente a AABB a fim de facilitar o reabastecimento de voces
Início: 7:15 da manha em ponto
- meia da asics - 2 voltas na lagoa
- meia do rio : duas voltas na lagoa
- meio iron ocean side e brasilia : 12kms
- iron man do brasil: 3 voltas na lagoa ou 1 volta na lagoa + subida na estrada dona castorina de ate o asfalto verde ( 400m apos a cachoeira) + ao descer completa a volta na lagoa
- corredores de prova ate 10km : 10kms

Acordei no dia 17/03 com a
responsabilidade de quem já treinava há algum tempo e por diversos contratempos
não tinha conseguido terminar nenhuma prova de longa distância. Não importava o
que acontecesse eu iria ultrapassar aquela linha chegada!
Apesar de criarmos algumas
expectativas em relação a tempo, elas se vão conforme o senhores clima, tempo e
regras avançam. Triatlhon definitivamente não é uma ciência
exata! Logo no início da manhã recebemos a notícia que não seria permitido
o uso de roupas de borracha. Ai ai ai! Logo a natação que sempre foi meu
calcanhar de Aquiles! Ficou definido que quem optasse por usar a roupa sairia
na ultima “wave” e não concorreria a vaga do mundial. Mas eu queria a vaga!
Brincadeirinha... Eu queria entrar para o jogo de verdade! A questão era que eu
havia nadado sem roupa no mar pela primeira vez no dia anterior e só 700
metros. Só que eu me senti muito bem com aquela “nadadinha”e essa sensação
ficou comigo... Levei a roupa de borracha para a largada e fiquei pensando,
analisando os pós e contras. Definitivamente nos temos dentro de nos forças que
desconhecemos, quando a minha “wave” 30-34 alinhou na largada, lá estava eu
junto com a mulherada. Já dentro da água uma americana (pelo menos acho eu ela
era) começou a falar um monte de coisas legais. O quanto éramos vitoriosas por
estar lá e se fazíamos ideia de quantos por cento da população já havia feito
uma prova daquela. Foi com a força daquelas palavras que larguei...
Comecei a nadar me afastando alguns
metros das outras participantes, não queria me apavorar ao me embolar com
alguém. Foi assim que segui, longe do bolo e fazendo o que havia treinado. Não
olhei em nenhum momento para o relógio, não precisava de tempo, precisava
passar por aquela que seria minha maior dificuldade: a natação. Depois de 48
min e 52 seg terminei os 2080 metros (que o meu relógio marcou). Achei que
havia nadado mais do que o necessário, só que o Cristiano que nadou “bóia a
bóia” marcou a mesma distância do que eu. Sai do mar me sentindo bem e corri os
700 e poucos metros da transição até a bike.
No pedal procurei manter um ritmo de
33-34 km/h e percebi que começava ultrapassar as mulheres da minha faixa etária
(já que a idade estava na panturrilha), foi nesse momento que decidir me
desligar de outras referências, aquela era a minha prova. It’s all about me!!!
Entre o km 30-40 caiu uma chuva pesada, deixando a estrada, meus pãozinhos e
minhas cápsulas de sal muito molhados. Rs! Todos atletas entraram em estado de
alerta. Foquei na segurança e prossegui, cheguei a ver a atleta favorita da
prova a Mirinda Carfre no chão, ela acabou não ficando nem entre as 10
primeiras. A estrada começou a secar e veio um vento lateral desesperador
que não deixava meu velocímetro subir
para mais de 28 km/h, isso durou ate o final do pedal. Finalizei meu pedal em 2
horas e 55 min, me sentindo feliz com o resultado, principalmente por causa das
circunstâncias.
Na transição da bike para a corrida
me desentendi com o relógio novo e resolvi deixar ele de lado e correr por
instinto. Comecei a correr com as pernas pesadas e para piorar a etapa da
corrida começou com uma subida, meu “pace” só foi melhorar no km 4 quando
avistei uma ladeira que me lembrava o pelourinho. Rs! A corrida foi toda assim,
em um terreno totalmente acidentado, o que impediu um pouco o ritmo. Lá pelas
tantas uma câimbra começou a insistir em aparecer, tentei tirar o foco e
aproveitar o visual do forte de Porto Rico. Já com a endorfina em alta nas
veias, me emocionei por diversas vezes e me senti a pessoa mais abençoada do
mundo por estar ali. Acho que a estratégia de desfocar funcionou...
A prova teve uma excelente
organização! Um show a parte foram os porto-riquenhos que pararam a cidade para
nos assistir. Torciam, serviam água na porta de suas casas, nos molhavam usando
mangueiras. Esqueci de dizer que apesar da chuva no pedal, a corrida foi feita
em um calor de 40 graus...
Foi com a alegria que a endorfina
proporciona que terminei em 6 horas 28 minutos o 70.3 de San Juan! Quero
agradecer ao Walter pelo treinamento, meus amigos e familiares pela torcida e
ao meu marido pelo apoio incondicional de sempre!!!

Chegamos
em Porto rico na quinta feira, ficamos hospedados no hotel Caribe Hilton que é
um dos dois hotéis da prova muito confortável e ótima indicação. Ah não
esqueça que esse pequeno pais pertence ao EUA e claro que precisa de
visto americano .
Na
sexta montamos as bikes e fomos pegar nossos kit's, também foi o dia que
começou a feira do evento, pequena, mais muito bem servida de muamba rs ! E
melhor, $ USA. Aproveitamos depois pra dar uma corrida leve pela cidade e
soltar as tenções.
No
sábado foi a vez do pedal, andamos por cerca de 1 hora, tudo redondo, fizemos o
bike check in e aproveitamos também pra dar uma caída no lugar onde seria
a natação da prova, bóias já nos lugares, caímos sem "wet suit" e
nadamos 15 min. Foi nossa primeira experiência sem roupa no mar.
A
noite é claro um jantar maneiro num restaurante italiano (Sofia) num lugar
agitado da ilhota..ótimo pra balada!
Domingo
finalmente o dia da prova
4:30 café
e quando fomos colocar nossas comidas e suprimentos na bike, percebemos
que o dia nao seria nada fácil, a temperatura da água estava 25,5 centígrado
e o uso de Wet foi proibido, gelei porque nunca tinhamos nadado no mar
aquela distancia sem wet.
Mais
também sabíamos da nossa capacidade e quanto o nosso velho e bom aquário nos
deixa preparado.
Também
tomei a decisão de ir num ritmo mais lento porém seguro, não gastar muita
energia pro resto da prova, a transição é bem longa 700 metros, peguei a
bike e apedal numa media de 36 km, lugar lindo Chegamos em Porto
rico na quinta feira, ficamos hospedados no hotel Caribe Hilton que é um dos

não contava com um chuva forte no meio, redobrei as atenções pois formaram
muitas poças pelo caminho, o pior na realidade foi os últimos 30 km,
parou de chover e entrou um vento muito forte, mais uma vez pensei, vamos lá...
Também treinei pra isso... E lembrei do Weio no chicote rs !!
Fiz
a transição pra corrida e pensei " agora é minha parte favorita" sai
num pace de 5:10 Estava me Sentido muito bem, ai
começou o sobe e desce, difícil de encaixar o ritmo constante, ah, na
corrida o tempo abriu e o homem lá de cima deu um sol pra cada maluco ali !!
Terminei
em 5:29,
muito feliz e bem cansado !!
Weio
o bom disso é que percebi muitas coisas e a principal é como faz falta a
galera toda junta, olhar pro rosto de uma parceiro e amigo de treino num prova
faz a maior diferença.
Que
venha o iron Brasil 2013 com os laranjas dominado Floripa.
Como categorizar uma montanha no ciclismo
Como as montanhas são categorizadas?
Subidas são categorizadas de acordo com algumas regras internacionais. Mas a organização da prova pode alterar um pouco essa classificação, veja como são categorizadas as subidas do Tour.
- Categoria 4: E a mais fácil, geralmente tem menos de 2km de extensão e por volta de 5% de inclinação. Ou com até 5km, com inclinação de 2 a 3 %;
- Categoria 3: Pode ter menos de 2km, mas com uma inclinação forte, aproximadamente 10%, ou com até 6km, com inclinação menor que 5%;
- Categoria 2: Pode ter 5 km, com inclinação média de 8%, ou com até 15km, com 4% de inclinação;
- Categoria 1: É a categoria mais difícil, pode ter de 8km, com média de 8%, ou até 20km, com inclinação média de 5%;
- Hors Catégorie (sem categoria): São montanhas extremamente longas e inclinadas, por exemplo, subidas com 10km e média de 7,5%, ou 25km com média de 6%.
